Agilus is currently recruiting for Marketing Manager, this opportunity is with our client located in Burlington, ON

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in a senior marketing program role (both as individual contributor and managerial roles) for a Capital Equipment Manufacturing Companies.

This role requires a results-driven focus on pipeline growth, customer acquisition, retention and expansion, with a strong partnership with sales and all other stakeholders.  Extensive experience with integrated marketing inclusive of product, solution, vertical industry marketing, direct and indirect sales is a key requirement.  The successful candidate will drive the development, execution and measurement of all global marketing programs in collaboration with Corporate, Brand and Regional Sales counterparts. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Marketing experience of IIOT products, will be considered a valuable asset
  • Develop and own the global marketing business plan, working collaboratively across marketing, sales, product management and operations to ensure a strong marketing contribution in support of the company’s pipeline and revenue goals
  • Develop, with Product Development and Regional Sales Teams, targeted marketing programs and campaigns for specific named verticals, solution selling processes and techniques to increase pipeline with high quality opportunities
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing program using all forms of classic and modern marketing channels available to reach prospective buyers (practitioners, executives, influencers and all involved in the buying effort) applying market focused planning and ROMI analytics
  • Create impactful marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with all constituents in marketing, sales, services and partners to design effective programs
  • Possess in depth knowledge of Video production, editing, and YouTube account management
  • Report and manage KPI metrics from the top of the funnel to closed/won: including but not limited to lead scoring, nurturing, hand off to sales, and conversion metrics
  • Coordinate with content development, including brand, to develop rich content that drives results in pipeline creation
  • Develop integrated complementary strategies and plans that develop advertising, banner/display ads and re-target to reach target audiences, across all brands and eCommerce platforms
  • Collaborate with and communicate any upcoming programs with applications teams, direct sales, and product management teams prior to launch
  • Understand products and solutions as well as well as supplementary products and services
  • Ensure the company is well represented at all external and internal marketing/industry events
  • In conjunction with the Sales Team, track, measure and report on key metrics monthly, quarterly and as needed
  • Understand the competitive environment and put most compelling value differentiators into programming design and execution


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business related
  • Must have marketed electro-mechanical equipment in a high-tech capital equipment environment
  • 10 + years of experience in B2B integrated marketing and sales programs with a results-driven approach to pipeline generation
  • Demonstrated success in designing and managing worldwide targeted lead generation efforts and funnel management
  • Understanding of funnel metrics, ROMI, targets and analysis and the ability to effect results
  • Marketing channel experience - both traditional and digital models including predictive techniques
  • Vertical industry program experience in key targeted verticals including Aerospace, Sign, Construction, Manufacturing, Cladding and other key verticals
  • Database marketing, CRM, marketing automation (ActiveCampaign, other marketing automation and analytic tools)
  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce marketing on the Shopify platform is a must
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills applicable to target market analysis and funnel management/related KPI’s, forecasting and the ability to adapt strategies and execution tactics as needed
  • Flexible and adaptive approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across teams, customers, sales, partners, vendors
  • Driving customer satisfaction programs, using customer feedback to implement improvements
    • Defining and implementing common tools, policies/procedures
  • Monitor and ensure Optimization of Google Analytics
    • Responsible for SEO and ASO optimization and reporting
  • Creation of new processes to ensure efficiency and efficacy of the operation
    • High self-motivation with a sense of urgency and positive mental attitude
