Position Summary:

The Plant Engineering Department is responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining package handling equipment and UPS facilities across Canada.

Job Type: Full-Time - Permanent

Work Location: 2900 Steeles Avenue West, Concord, ON L4K 3S2.

Workdays: Monday to Friday.

Shift duration: 8:30AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Coordinate building repairs and asset protection projects.
  • Perform inspections and audits, conduct routine technical surveys and recommend/implement operational improvements.
  • Ensure the environmental compliance and safety of operation systems.
  • Prepare designs, plans and reports in accordance with the company‑established codes, standards and specifications.
  • Conduct cost estimations and budgeting as well as be accountable for project management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
  • Three to seven (3-7) years of experience working in medium to large production plants and managing small teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (being bilingual in French and English would be considered an asset).
  • Results-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and Electrical Control Systems would be considered an asset.
