Payroll Administrator Needed

We’ve got a requirement for a Payroll Administrator to join a team in Burnaby in a new permanent role. This is with an organic food company who love all things green! This person is looking for a great long-term opportunity with room to grow down the line. Someone who prides themselves on their attention to detail, their excellent communication skills, and their organizational skills.

Salary: $50K

Duties:

  • Processing biweekly payroll for 150 + employees (salaried, hourly and union)
  • Onboarding new hires, leaves, and salary adjustments;
  • Preparing ROEs;
  • Benefit enrollments and reconciling group benefits;
  • Handling any WCB claims;
  • Answering any questions staff may have about payroll.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of the Avanti system;
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and provincial regulations;
  • Strong computer skills including Excel (pivot tables especially and reporting).
