Lead Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

Ref ID: 05060-0011280202

Classification: Quality Assurance Analyst

Compensation: $75000.00 to $85000.00 yearly

Some companies claim to have a warm, family atmosphere. When I visited this particular office, I was blown away by the fact that in their case, it was actually true. This well-established software product development firm is nestled in a Richmond business park, and the people working there sure seem to love it.

In this Quality Assurance Lead role, you will be joining this small, yet growing family of software professionals in the Richmond office. Your peers will be software developers, testers and software support people. As a team, they all contribute to making a great product (and providing great support and service) for their customers who are spread out around the globe.

As a lead, you will work closely with all the other people in the office to understand the deep inner-workings of the software. Then you will come up with innovative ways to test the software, and test the limits of the functionality. The product is highly configurable, and this means there are many different configuration possibilities

In this full time position, you’ll earn a competitive base salary, and you’ll receive extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation. On top of that you’ll be working in a positive, supportive environment surrounded by people who love their work.

The current staff at this company mentioned that the atmosphere within the company is one of continuous learning. They also talked about being able to get involved in decisions and projects outside the scope of their ‘normal’ work. So this means for someone who is motivated by learning and technical challenges, it could be a good option. All the people I spoke with also emphasized that they value analytical skills, and they look for people who are detail-oriented and like working with sensitive data.

In this role, you’ll be working primarily with Microsoft tools, using the .NET development framework. You’ll have a chance to work with the latest versions of the .NET framework testing tools including Azure DevOps, and Microsoft’s most recent cloud-based software offerings.

If you're interested in pursuing this role, please contact me for an initial discussion. This is also a great opportunity to talk about your overall career goals and preferences. We can even discuss other potential roles which may fit what you're looking for.

If there is a suitable match, then I will make an introduction to the client on your behalf, and organize a series of interviews. The hiring process typically takes 1-2 weeks from start-to-finish.
