As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating the activities of the customer service team to maintain and enhance the customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives.

  • Develop overall team sales plan and set goals for revenue, and margin dollars for the team.
  • Create team customer budgets and develop/implement strategic plan.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Customer Service to develop key performance indicators to monitor and manage specific team targets.
  • Develop and provide insight to the quoting strategy for the team.
  • Review the impact of currency (FX fluctuations) and implement the quoting strategy.
  • Provide guidance and insight to customer requirements and revenue growth plan.
  • Review and approve return material authorizations (RMAs) and bid contracts.
  • Evaluate and determine complex contract assignments.
  • Review bus build schedule, create and implement new customer strategy plan.
  • Evaluate staff performance by creating annual performance reviews, coaching, mentoring and coordinating training requirements.

  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years in a leadership role
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Adept with MS office, in particular Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, effectively prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
