BILINGUAL Inside Sales Manager

We have partnered with an industry leading distributor of health and safety and Industrial supplies. We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager for their office in Ville-St-Laurent to join the existing sales team to grow commercial accounts leading a team of 8-12 account managers. This position will focus on inside over the phone sales with opportunities to visit clients. The goal of this position is to increase the wallet share within an established base of accounts. You should have a great knowledge of the market, Exceptional leadership ability to mentor and grow the teams results.

This position would be a great fit for individuals with a background in industrial sales as it encompasses technical product sales, project management, generating tender submittals, and strategic selling

Responsibilities:

        
  • Responsible to develop and maintain a motivated and competent team, capable of achieving the District’s sales goals

  •     
  • Leads the professional development and training of Sales Force
  •          
  • Consultation with Manager, Sales Development to set priorities and action plans to achieve objectives as set out in the Inside Sales Centre plan
  •     
  • Ensure that sales penetration and market share and GM% growth targets are met
  •     
  • Review at least at each fiscal quarter (end) the progress to budget of each Inside Account Manager. Provide feedback and take corrective action as required to deal with shortcomings

  • Ensure company’s “Code of Ethics” is understood and adhered to
  •          
  • Works closely with Branch Managers and Inside Account Managers to ensure customer needs are met
  •          
  • Manage and grow a book of business close to $20 million dollars

Experience:

  • Graduation from Technical School, University and/or College with focus on Sales & Marketing Management, plus experience

  • Several years of successful selling and preferably sales management experience. Experience and proven ability to supervise and motivate a large sales force. Excellent organization and communication skills. Computer literate/training
  •          
  • Proven ability to make own decisions as required within defined limits of the position
