Are you a creative, strategic Product Champion who is looking to run your own business inside of a business? If so, we might be your match! We are looking for a high energy, experienced and proven Product Director to lead MyEnergyXpert, our award winning online energy audit and marketplace platform. Set the Vision & Strategy for Energy Savings

  • Set the strategy for MyEnergyXpert – working with technology, sales, marketing and operations to continue to build a business that enables utilities to meet their energy consumption targets, delivers great savings to homes and businesses and drives revenue for contractors and service providers.
  • Continue to strive for and achieve product market fit.

Build the Best Energy Savings Experience for North American Consumers

  • Analyze the market and competitive environment, monitoring emerging trends, to define a differentiated product vision that delivers unique value
  • Act as the voice of the consumer inside the business, working with the development team to create innovative experiences that save consumers time and money
  • Work collaboratively with technology team to develop and execute a robust product roadmap that leverages energyX’s unique relationships with utilities, energy retailers and channel partners
  • Develop business case for partnerships, investments or joint ventures to help achieve our goals

Drive value for our business and our utility clients

  • Work closely with the CEO, CTO and Sales and acting as the domain matter expert, to develop initiatives that increase our client base and drive traffic to the platform
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Data Analytics team to ensure marketing campaigns are effective at driving consumer engagement and to provide insights for clients
  • Showcase the product and tell our story at various conferences across North America


    • Creative, innovative and curious product champion
    • Prior experience in the utility and energy efficiency industry is a MUST
    • Proven ability to successfully drive revenue and profitability
    • Ability to translate our products into a compelling customer benefit
    • Can see the big picture but can still dive into the detail to find the gems of insight that will make the difference
    • Ability to make quality decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate leadership and develop effective relationships with clients and team members
    • Motivated self-starter with a strong initiative, working within limited direct supervision, and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
    • A university degree in marketing, business studies or engineering is preferred.
