LOOKING FOR A WOOD FLOOR SALES EXPERT – SHOWROOM SALES

Our client is known throughout the design world for offering high quality interior surface materials that are sourced throughout the globe and presented in showrooms across North America.  At this time, our client has launched a wood flooring division (products sourced from Europe) and they are looking to add a “Wood Floor Expert" to their team!

JOB OVERVIEW

In this role you need to be able to work with a range of customers from designers to contractors to final clients who are interested in learning about and purchasing interior surface materials like: tiles, slabs, mosaics, hardwood flooring, as well as plumbing accessories.  Your role however, will be the “PRODUCT EXPERT" focused on wood flooring.  Goal here is to grow and expand sales for this product line. 


As the leading product expert, you will be required to support and train co-workers as well as other associates who sell at different locations. 


This role does have professional growth opportunity.


**Please note:  this is a very busy showroom. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Saturday.  You do not need to work every Saturday there is a rotating schedule which will be explained in detail during the interview process with the Recruiter**




Requirements


REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years experiences selling and working with designers, contractors or final clients focused on wood flooring
  • Be able to meet or exceed sales targets and other related KPIs
  • Experience working with or servicing key accounts, ensuring clients are aware of promotions, new product lines or other promotional opportunities
  • Be skilled in offering excellent customer service and be able to resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Be able to assist with or provide product knowledge to internal teams as well as to answer technical questions from clients
  • Have experienced participating in industry events and related activities to build client network
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
