INSIDE SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:  Manages regular direct contact with customer accounts  with respect to taking orders, setting schedules and maintaining good customer service especially on time delivery. Monitors and controls receivable payments to acceptable targets.

.       

Assist the Sales Manager in the quoting process:

·       Receives incoming quotes and records

·       Should the Sales Manager be away, issue request to Engineering and the President so action can be taken in the interim.

·       Issue quote to customer when requested by Sales Manager   

·       Responsible for filling out feasibility forms

·       Maintain quote log

·       Typing effective quotes

·      Gathering prices for processing quotes

.      Thorough knowledge of the automotive marketplace and customer requirements and systems for releasing, scheduling and ordering

.      Thorough knowledge of company's systems for scheduling, production control, quality assurance, and manufacturing capabilities.

.      Knowledge of company's financial systems for pricing, price changes and amendments, credits and receivables.

.      Thorough knowledge of company’s organization, systems and procedures associated with projects and customer service.

.      Very strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills.

.      Ability to analyze, plan and execute

.      Computer skills in operating systems, word processing, spread sheets and data base programs.
