Job Description:
Our client is North America’s largest steel foundation construction products company. Business Development team is responsible for identifying and developing strategic opportunities for growth of the market for steel foundation products. Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join their Business Development Managemet Department in Brossard, QC, Canada.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the regional Sales team and Business Development Manager (BDM) to provide technical support to our client's customers.

Key Responsibilities for Sales Engineer Include:

  • Develop professional relationships with engineering clients in the region.
  • Develop and manage value-engineered proposals in close collaboration with the regional BDM.
  • Industry education on the technical aspects and efficient use of our client's products.
  • Travel with the BDM to call on new and existing engineering clients to promote the adoption of our client's products.
  • Participation in local and national professional organizations, occasional travel to related conferences.


  • BS in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Ability to travel freely between Canada and the United States
  • Ability to travel an average of 25%, both local and overnight
  • All experience levels will be considered


  • P.Eng. license or the ability to obtain a license within a few years
