The Sales Support – Summer Student will be reporting to the Director of Sales, Eastern Region. As the Sales Support – Summer Student, you will perform and oversee a variety of general office support assignments.  These assignments will include processing of documents, recording, retrieving and the distribution of data or information.   

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

  • Accurately enter transaction details into the application system (Edge)
  • Submits applications
  • Contacts customers to confirm details of their contract and review transaction pricing using the tools provided.

Transaction Completion

  • As required, works with the MOCC audit group to confirm how to properly document transactions that are more complicated.
  • Sends out legal documents to Vendor and/or Lessee
  • Follows up for the return of documents, as required.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they have received equipment in working order.


  • Follows-up with the Vendor/Lessee on all non-material transaction deficiencies as identified by Audit.
  • Learns various programs fee structures and special handling of specific accounts.
  • Prioritizes tasks for the workday and re-evaluates priorities, as new tasks are required.
  • Provides reception relief as needed.

Data Gathering

  • Gather data from multiple sources and compile in a manner easily understandable.
  • Create market research reports as required.

Education/Work Experience/Designations

  • Currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary Institution
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Meets work demands and expectations in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written)
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, approachable and team-oriented personality, with a positive attitude
  • Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
