Classification: Graphic User Interface Designer

Compensation: $27.71 to $32.09 per hour

The Creative Group's North York client is currently looking for support on a 1 year contract. This User Experience (UX) Designer will support a new opportunity with the company and will have a great chance to expand their skillset and work on a national project. Responsibilities of this position: - Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets - Develop UI mockups and prototypes - Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images aligned with AODA AA standards - Lead user experience efforts for all development projects advocating for human computer interaction (HCI) principles. - Develop creative solutions to business and consumer challenges; generating or leading the development of storyboards, task flows, consumer journeys, experience maps, wire-frames, prototypes, and taxonomies. - Play an integral role in site usability testing. Help to plan and conduct usability tests, evaluate results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a User Experience (UX) Designer - Strong attention to detail - Experience using Adobe Photoshop - User Story - Story Creation, Adobe Photoshop, Web Design
