We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Chief Marketing Management to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.
This role will be the primary contact function for all product/marketing opportunities related to assigned models and the competing brands in their class. Responsible for volume, share and profit of assigned vehicle portfolio. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
1. Marketing:
Manages the development and implementation of marketing plans for assigned models in support of sales, profit, and brand objectives.
• Manages the development of strategic briefing communications for consumer audiences. Clarifies market position, consumer benefits and targeted audiences for all advertising, marketing and merchandising messages.
• Monitors the activities of functional groups in training, public relations, marketing communication and advertising agencies
• Supports long and short-term media/PR events for new vehicle launches, including overviews for the press on the target consumer and the launch plans.
2. Lifecycle/Business Planning:
Manages the development of and maintains lifecycle expense analysis by vehicle, combining current and future sales and production plans, incentive charts, market trends, advertising budgets, product enhancements and competitive actions for all project milestones. Represents Nissan Canada in negotiations with Program Director for Concept and Profile milestones.
3. Trim/Mix Strategy:
Manage development of Canadian specific Trim/Mix Strategy in partnership with Product Planning
Manages introduction and Marketing of Special Editions and/or non-factory accessory packages throughout vehicle lifecycles
4. New Vehicle Launch Plans:
Manages the development and implementation of new launch plans for the introduction of new products. Plans and leads internal functional groups and vendor resources to achieve launch objectives.
5. Pricing, Carflow, Incentives:
Manages the development of pricing proposals and implementation of pricing and production mix strategies. Manages the development and implementation of carflow, promotions, and contest/incentive plans to support sales and profitability of assigned vehicles.
6. In-Market Performance:
Manages assigned portfolio KPI scorecard and regional performance. Liaises with Sales Operations/Field Operations to understand the competitive market environment.
