Solar Brokers Canada is currently seeking Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full cycle inside sales, business to consumer sales, experience using virtual presentations, and a proven track record of closing and growing assigned territories. The Inside sales agent will identify and close sales with residential clients across Canada. The Inside Sales Agent will be involved in the final stages of our sales process. With our industry leading training, we expect all of our Inside Sales Agents to become experts in our products and our virtual sales model.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Conduct pre-booked virtual client meetings, walking clients through the custom solar proposal build for their property
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and our applications department post-sale to ensure a smooth process for our clients during the documentation and paperwork stage
  • Follow up with previous clients that did not close during their initial meeting
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure all resources are available to support you during your client meetings, i.e proposals, applications, financing approval etc.
  • Support Solar Brokers Canada’s other marketing campaigns and initiatives as they arise i.e home shows, client referral programs etc.
  • Record and maintain client information on our Salesforce CRM system in a timely and organized fashion
  • Continuously learn about industry trends and technology to become a subject matter expert in solar energy

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A proven sales closer with experience working and conducting full cycle sales
  • Minimum 3 years of full cycle inside sales
  • Previous experience in telemarketing/cold calling is a must (no cold calling will be required in this role)
  • Adaptability with the proven ability to comprehend and assimilate new concepts quickly
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive with a passion for sales and confidence to work in a fast-paced, and highly metrics driven environment
  • Genuine passion and interest in the renewable energy industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build rapport and trust quickly
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a wide audience
  • Experience using virtual presentation software to close deals
  • Experience in energy sales or real estate is considered an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications or psychology is considered an asset
  • B2C sales experience is considered an asset
  • Experience selling high ticket items in a B2C sales environment is considered an asset
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment is considered an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce is considered an asset
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check
