This front-line position is responsible for providing exceptional reception support to the Arguson head office group focused on the coordination of incoming calls, visitors and deliveries. To support the Accounts Payable function, you will complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. You will perform all duties and responsibilities in an organized manner and in accordance with our company's values and beliefs.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities *Assume office reception duties including answering and transferring inbound calls, processing courier deliveries, greeting visitors and clients and, directing them to the appropriate individual *Process and reconcile A/P transactions including invoices, payments, and credits *Communicate with Project Operations staff to get invoice approvals, work out discrepancies and other A/P related issues *In a timely manner, sets up new vendors and jobs in accounting system with appropriate information *Contact and follow-up with vendors regarding issues with documentation and/or invoices *Ensure files and documents are prepared and logged with a high level of accuracy and within required timeframes *Monitor/maintain tracking tools to provide effective reporting of project information *Oversee office equipment/supplies and maintains kitchen cleanliness and supplies *Provide other duties as requested and required

Job Requirements

Desired Knowledge/Skills: *1 year of A/P experience, preferably in a Construction environment *1 year of administration/receptionist experience viewed as an asset *Strong commitment to excellence in customer service and building strong relationships among all levels *Demonstrated excellent communication skills is essential, as well as possession of analytical and organizational skills *Must have an ability to manage competing priorities, prioritize tasks and respond pro-actively *Noted accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work *Critical thinker with strong attention to details *Flexible and adaptable with proven problem-solving skills *Quick learner who works well within a fast-paced team-oriented environment *Ability to deal with issues which are confidential and sensitive in nature requiring professionalism and discretion *Proficient with Microsoft Office
