On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project Coordinator.

Project Coordinator – Job Description

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, budgets, and business cases
  • Provide industry and market insights on the supplier management landscape
  • Facilitate project/initiative communication within team through consistent maintenance and tracking of initiative risks, constraints, issues, action items, etc. using the appropriate methodology.
  • Identifies and resolves/escalates potential conflicts
  • Promotes innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices as noted in the Supplier Management & Governance guidelines
  • Responsible for ensuring all project/initiative related documentation (including approvals) are received and uploaded to designated spot (i.e. SharePoint)
  • Establishes, develops and maintains strong relationships with business partners/ sponsors, internal and external partners.
  • Provides superior client experience to business partners.
  • Contributes to an atmosphere amongst team that fosters contribution from all team members and obtains the best results for the team.
  • Sets and pursues a standard for performance which is higher than that set by management. Measures outcomes against that standard. Makes specific changes in the system or in own work methods to improve performance (e.g., efficiency/effectiveness, improves quality, customer/service partner satisfaction, profitable revenue growth).
  • Understands how the customer/service partner must feel and holds people accountable for taking prompt action to serve the needs of the customer/service partner or service partner. Acts quickly to solve the customer/service partner or service partner problem

Project Coordinator – Mandatory Skills

  • 4+ years’ experience in supporting through coordination complex projects/initiatives, involving large cross-enterprise teams across multiple disciplines and of a business/functional unit significance
  • Good Understanding of Information Technology, Software Development Lifecycle, and Managed Services
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
  • Has successfully supported multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid skills in managing issues, changes and problems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage several activities simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of supplier management

Project Coordinator – Nice to Have Skills

  • Previous Project Experience would be as asset
  • Undergraduate Degree preferred
  • Experience in Supplier Management preferred
  • Good understanding of the IT application services
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
