Talentcor Mississauga is currently recruiting for a Program Manager for our client who is a leader in providing Health Care Services
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Improving quality services to clients through Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives while ensuring professional standards (CNO)
  • Guide and Support a team of field staff as well as overseeing clinical educational services
  • Adheres to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of the company
  • Works within the companies Ethical Practice Framework
  • Understands the range of services provided by each division and how they contribute to the model of Total Client Care
  • Continually asses and identify and respond to new and changing needs of clients
  • Fulfills the responsibilities of the competent supervisor in keeping with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Leads a team of Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses to achieve excellence in Client health care
  • Monitors Team Performance and activity including quality of care and documentation
  • Key Performance indicators are reviewed with Regional Manger regulatory and used to develop future
  • Motivates, directs and coaches staff to ensure high quality of care consistently meets defined organizational standards
  • Responsible for the development and management of staff including facilitating training sessions, conduct performance appraisals
  • Leads and assists with the integration of Client satisfaction initiatives, ensures that all referred Client concerns and complaints are satisfactorily addressed
  • Promotes the companies through participation in local healthcare or business committees
  • Responds to internal and external employee enquiries/feedback
  • Assists with the organizing and rollout of special events and staff training programs
  • Record details of employee incidents and injuries at work
  • Handle all related administrative duties
  • Provides reception relief as necessary
 
 
Preferred skills:
 
  • Current CNO certificate as Registered Nurse, degree preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Manager, preferably in a community setting
  • Solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of community nursing and service delivery to Clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team
  • Valid G Driver’s license
  • Extensive local travel is required to meet with Clients and case workers
  • Weekend and evening “on-call” is required on a shared basis
  • Work is performed in both a corporate and home office setting.
 
 
 
Compensation: Will be based on experience
