Powder Coating Technician

Role

Participate and provide collaborative support in daily deliverables meeting
Preparing parts for coating 

Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application 
Loading prepared products onto a line in order to be coated 
Powder Coat all products efficiently and according to customer specifications 
Manually inspect all products after coating and report any product defects or quality issues 
Utilize all tools and machinery according to safety specifications and ensure all safety procedures are being met to ensure a safe work environment 
Ensure all tools and machinery are properly cleaned and maintained 
Assist with sandblasting parts in preparation for coating

Package and wrap finished product ensuring a high quality standard 


Job Requirements


1-2 years previous experience working in a powder coating manufacturing environment 

Demonstrated knowledge of powder coating procedures and equipment 

Ability to follow direction, manage multiple or changing priorities and meet daily production goals

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Able to use shop/hand tools and able to lift up to 50 pounds

Proven ability to work in a team environment

Commitment to health and safety
