Classification: Financial Analyst - Manager

Compensation: DOE

The Finance Manager is part of the finance group based at the Kitchener office and will work for designated operating companies and/or entities within the North America region This role will act as the finance partner to analyze, translate financial reporting and developing metrics for increased profitability and overall company performance. The Finance Manager will delve into the business and provide insights, analytics and contributes at a very high level so that the company?s business plans and objectives are supported and realized. This position will take responsibility for achieving deadlines and accuracy of information presented and will work to support other finance functions and entities as required. Experience +5 years in accounting/control role - CPA designation Computerized accounting systems, ERP and BI tools Knowledge needed: ? Comprehensive understanding of business systems, control procedures, cash management, reporting ? High level computer skills ? Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel, BI tools, ? Ability to work with multiple demands and deadlines, able to prioritize work. ? In depth knowledge and experience with accounting/ERP systems, BI tools ? Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines Competencies: ? Analytical thinker who uses business experience and insight to support operations ? High level of planning organization ? Excellent interpersonal communication skills ? Demonstrate efficient time management ? Ability to effectively problem solve and make decisions ? Team player, highly confidentiality ? Ability to adapt and lead in a high-performance environment ? Flexibility in personal time schedule to support month-end and all reporting deadlines. Key Accountabilities: ? Work within the Finance Shared Services group for all businesses based and within North America, including associated activities in Central South America (as applicable)Act as the lead finance manager for the Americas and/or assigned operating companies and act as main point of contact for General Manager, as well as Corporate Controllers and/or Finance Directors ? Reporting of month end financial information using AX, Navision and Microsoft Excel, corporate entry to Hyperion (currently 5 reporting entities for the company) ? Responsible for all reporting for the holding companies (3) in North America ? Implement maintain accurate flow of financial information in compliance with all monthly, and annual group reporting policies and deadlines ? Analyze financial statements for discrepancies, variances from budget, and other issues that should be used for business management including: sales, volumes, pricing, OPEX, CE, debtor management, cash flow, etc. ? Preparation and execution of budgets and forecasts ? Query of database/ERP for various business purposes and create ad hoc reports to support business needs ? Perform financial administration business support as required (i.e. capex) ?
