We are currently looking for a Field Quality Engineer to join our team in Brampton, ON.

This role will be responsible for Field Quality investigations for all vehicle systems/components in the Canadian market. Key is product quality enhancement to improve the customer satisfaction to drive the overall opinion of Nissan & Infiniti products.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures field quality concerns relating to all systems are investigated, reported and effectively counter-measured through GCAR system. (Nissan System)
  • Proactively identify the emerging issues from warranty database, survey data, and dealer reports to take effective countermeasure.
  • Establishes action plans and drive priority incident investigations and create executive level presentations for management reporting.
  • Conduct technical engineering investigations of customer reported incidents to identify the need for design or manufacturing countermeasure action.
  • Conduct meetings and communication with the responsible departments to ensure countermeasure development is completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.  


Job Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of previous automotive experience required. Prior work experience with other OEM’s is preferred.
  • Must have an in depth understanding of automotive technology, product knowledge, product quality related information systems.
  • Hands on experience with vehicle evaluation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, problem solving & presentation skills are required.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS applications.
  • Bilingual French would be an asset.
