Our client located in Mississauga is seeking a Business Development Manager Canada to join their growing team. This is a permanent position, with responsibility to grow submersible and diesel pump sales on a national scale. The person suitable for this role will have experience in a construction environment.


Main Responsibilities 

  • Manage a dealer network that sells and services to various customers located in any given territory
  • Participate in dealer target setting activities
  • Plan, organize and administer equipment demonstrations and site visits  
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships, closely manage key accounts and drive customer satisfaction
  • Assess and define customer applications so that the correct product can be represented
  • Forecast quarterly required equipment inventory
  • Ensure that equipment is delivered per agreed upon terms and support the finance team during collection activities as required
  • Prepare information for sales meetings and conference calls
  • Prepare essential reports to include; activity, sales, and marketing reports
  • Participate in equipment shows and association meetings 
  • Maintain a high level of product and product application knowledge. 
  • Possess a thorough understanding of machine functions and systems. Embrace continuous learning.  
  • Must be able to manage multiple dealers and their multi-layer personnel organizations

  • Five plus years of related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education  and experience.  
  • Bilingual French / English language capabilities is an asset.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 
  • Experience using SAP – preferred.  
  • Must be able to manage multiple dealers and their multi-layer personnel organizations (corporate  management to field mechanics). 
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license 
  • Maintain a valid Canadian Passport. Candidate must be capable of traveling Internationally (Europe and  the USA).
