The Bilingual Service Coordinator, under the direction of the VP Service & Engineering, will primarily be responsible to support customer base by resolving questions, concerns, and technical issues, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints which are escalated from other departments. This position will ensure that customers are satisfied with the issue resolution as well as the resolution process itself. This role will also attempt to calm irate customers by explaining the situation while attempting to resolve the issue to the best of your abilities. The Bilingual Service Coordinator must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and three years of customer service experience in the Machine tool industry.

Job Duties

        
  • Support customer base by responding to questions, concerns, and technical issues, as well as handling customer inquiries and complaints which are escalated from other departments
  •     
  • Ask the appropriate questions to gather the information needed to diagnose the service case
  •     
  • Analyze problems and make recommendations as to root causes and corrective actions
  •     
  • Select and explain the best solution to the client
  •     
  • Ensure that customers are satisfied with the issue resolution as well as the resolution process itself
  •     
  • Proactively attend to customer complaints in a professional manner
  •     
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding the status of service cases and any payment if applicable in a timely manner
  •     
  • Provide one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication
  •     
  • Consult with customers after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
  •     
  • Troubleshoot technical problems related to products and services using appropriate manuals
  •     
  • Answering customer’s inquiries and quotations for chargeable services
  •     
  • Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
  •     
  • Develop and build relationships with new accounts and develop additional contacts within existing accounts
  •     
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Sales Representatives
  •     
  • Relay customer quality improvement suggestions for company services
  •     
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
  •     
  • Review and adapt to information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions
  •     
  • Assist in ordering parts when required
  •     
  • Schedule service calls with Field Service Representatives
Job Requirements

        
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  •     
  • Completion of a business diploma, degree, or related certificate from a recognized College or University preferred
  •     
  • Three years of customer service experience
  •     
  • Bilingual French/English is necessary
  •     
  • Previous experience within the tooling/machine industry
  •     
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
  •     
  • Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers
  •     
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  •     
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  •     
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  •     
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  •     
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  •     
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
