The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible to work in conjunction with New Business Development, Commercial Operations and Consulting to build and maintain key Innomar Strategies business accounts. In addition, the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for building the Company image, assisting/coordinating responses to RFP (Request for Proposal) and assessing the client needs, while ensuring key client expectations are met and surpassed. The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will be working with the Operational teams to ensure that all client expectations and key issues are managed proactively in conjunction with the Project Lead and/or the functional Director whose area would be most involved in the project in question, so they have a clear understanding of what the client requires from Innomar Strategies. As well, the Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will work to generate new leads within each identified key account and to explore new opportunities with existing clients.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the development and execution of a client specific contact and tactical plan that supports new and organic business growth objectives for all service areas within the organization
  • Determines and executes the client specific value proposition and sales strategy; identifies resources; operates as the single point of contact in new strategic opportunities
  • Develops and implements strategic sales and contact plans to accommodate national and regional business goals within assigned clients
  • Building solid and positive working relationships with identified clients
  • Leading, cultivating existing relationships with assigned clients
  • Responsible for developing strategic relationships with assigned clients
  • Coordination of the Innomar internal matrix relationships and within each identified client
  • Creates internal alignment to deliver overall client experience
  • Responsible for the identification of new business opportunities within each identified client
  • Gathers and analyzes information, develops strategies concerning dynamics that may affect area of responsibility, such as changes in customer ownership, new affiliations, current market share and targets of opportunities for new growth, customers’ changing requirements, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and continually communicates these strategies internally using updates to written business plans and ongoing business communication
  • Representing the voice of the client (VOC)
  • Enhances/supports the existing operational teams
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities within each identified client in relation with the strategic direction of the organization
  • Leading and maintaining the client and contact database/system and coordinate client contact plans with the Senior Management Team
  • Leading, in close collaboration with NBD, the coordination of the proposal process, development of responses to RFPs
  • Represent the company brand offerings by attending the industry events as outlined in the annual Marketing Plan
  • Leading strategic planning meetings to promote business growth
  • Accountable to manage multiple large Innomar Strategies clients
  • Accountable to increase revenues for each client - business will be enterprise wide and success will be measured through specific objectives
  • The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry
  • Experience with Specialty Medicines
  • Direct experience in managing or delivery of Patient Support Programs
  • University degree in Science, Business, Management or related discipline
  • Bilingualism an asset

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the Specialty Medicine Business

  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information and develop strategies and tactics to respond to changes in the marketplace
  • Possessing excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain cooperative, beneficial and positive working and business relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to build and seek relevant organic business
  • Possessing relevant pharmaceutical strategic planning experience
