The opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are adding a Sales and Renewal Administrator to our team; someone with outstanding administration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

What will our new Sales and Renewal Administrator do? 

In this position, you will own the customer renewal and order management process. You will manage renewing contracts, promote expansion opportunities, assist with scheduling and handle sales and order administrative tasks.  

Your day-to-day will look something like this:

  • Order and document administration. You will utilize our tools and resources to process renewals and manage other supporting documents, make calculations, prepare sales quotes and proposals, and register 3rd party partner deals.
  • Proactively reach out to customers. You will show initiative and connect with customers to secure their contract renewal. As part of the Sales team you will build relationships, share knowledge, and increase customer’s level of engagement. 
  • Renew and increase the value of existing subscriptions. You will use your understanding of the customer’s business and our offerings to help expand their subscription. You will track renewal status, send quotes, respond to customer requests and ensure the renewal is completed on time.  
  • Field marketing support. You will work across teams to help coordinate trade shows, partner demonstrations, and other events. 
  • Reporting. You will generate accurate sales reporting data, including pipeline conversion rates, total funnel, and lead sources.

What you bring to iTMethods:

  • Education and experience. You have a post-secondary degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or Communications. You have 4+ years of professional experience in a business administration or sales function, ideally at a technology company or an IT organization. You have experience with administration, order management, and procurement processes.
  • Technical aptitude. You are advanced at MS Office. Ideally, you have been exposed to collaboration tools such as Jira, Slack, Salesforce and Confluence, or similar technologies in the past. 
  • Great communication skills. You have exceptional verbal and written abilities and you can convey ideas to an array of stakeholders in a clear, concise manner. 
  • Passion and drive. You are curious and love to learn. You’re a proactive individual who takes the initiative to solve problems as soon as you spot them. You pay attention to detail and are continually looking for ways to improve processes. 
  • Attention to detail. You thrive on numbers and details. You are comfortable with complex sales structures and calculations that are common in today’s advances subscription SaaS businesses. Your work is highly accurate, and others have confidence in the quality of your work. You pay attention to the fine details that others may overlook.
