Job Title: Reserve Brand Ambassador - Ontario

Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week, flexible hours

Base wage: $75,911.62, subject to annual adjustment based on merit

Bonus: 15% of base pay (discretionary)

Vacation: 3 weeks per year

Required Skills & Experience:

 At least two years of marketing and/or promotional experience;

 Experience in working with media;

 Experience in special event planning and execution;

 Demonstrated capability in training;

 Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)

 Experience in budgeting

 Demonstrated expertise in mixology and distilled spirits’ trend development and ideology; additional expertise in wine and/or beer preferred;

 Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competition;

 Ability to manage complex customer relationships;

 Excellent negotiation and influencing skills;

 Strong interpersonal and analytical skills;

 Excellent communication skills: verbal, listening and writing;

 Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities;

 Seek out new ideas, exhibit initiative and be proactive;

 Attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;

 Experience with luxury brands preferred;

 Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred;

 Carrying and lifting 45-65 pounds; Overhead reaching/standing/ bending to perform various duties, as required


Duties and Responsibilities:

In this position, the applicant will be responsible for the Reserve strategy at the account level. They will analyze marketing needs and develop appropriate plans, publicize activities and events, develop and implement information programs, and engage in media relations. Their specific duties will include:

●  Drive distribution, visibility and endorsement of Reserve brands in top on-trade and off-trade outlets in key markets;

●  Collaborate on strategic plans to secure and develop key accounts;

●  Advise clients on sales promotion strategies; develop, implement and evaluate communications strategies and/or programs designed to inform clients, employees and/or the general public of ongoing initiatives and key products; Gather, research and prepare communications and promotional materials; Implement annual promotional plans with key customers;

●  Develop and implement content for online platforms and social media channels;

●  Develop, arrange and/or execute presentations and interviews for print, film and social media outlets; represent the Reserve portfolio and act as spokesperson at media events;

●  Research, develop and report trends to assist sales team;

●  Implement brand education and training in the market to support provincial, national and global brand strategies;

●  Coordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences; develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies targeted at consumer events, festivals and product tastings;

●  Prepare and deliver educational, informational and publicity programs to increase awareness of the products; organize and conduct seminars and masterclasses to increase brand awareness; execute customer staff trainings; host educational seminars;

●  Execute internal employee training and mentoring;

●  Design and curate mixology and pairing trends;

●  Manage annual budget of up to $50k;

●  Other related duties, as assigned

Education Requirement:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma for a program or 1-2 years OR equivalent experience

Additional Requirements:

●  Must be age 19 or older;

●  Criminal record check required upon offer

●  Must be willing to travel regularly, valid driver’s license, own/access to vehicle.

●  Must own cell phone
