Classification: Project Manager

Compensation: $70000.00 to $80000.00 yearly


This position is responsible for interacting daily with the Customer, Customer’s agency partners and internal resources, overseeing the life cycle of print marketing projects. This position requires the ability to understand account requirements and apply the appropriate project management, administrative and computer skills, working diligently to complete the sales cycle. Projects are multi-faceted, fast paced and require the ability to manage overlapping campaigns and workflows concurrently.

• Manage a high volume of overlapping print order campaigns/activities, including estimates, new print requirements order entry, proofing process, kitting and distribution requirements, and maintaining specification and digital asset databases.
• Act as a consultant to clients (ie. Sobeys)n and make professional suggestions in regards to their campaign concepts, budgets, cross-selling, creative solutions, cost-savings, and other production related responsibilities
• Work with clients directly from briefing stage all the way to end of project
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing industry
• Liaise with Plants and Warehouses to ensure service level agreements are met for each Campaign or Print Project
• Daily interaction with customer and agencies to manage the lifecycle of campaigns and print projects ensuring work back schedule dates are met following the established escalation process.
• Daily interaction with end users regarding deliveries and order requirements.
• Manage print and reporting requirements utilizing RMM Reporting, SAP, Pathfinder, Custom Buy, Estimating Tools and Microsoft Office
• Maintain CustomPoint as per customer requirements
• Proactively indentify risks to project SLA’s
• Handle customer inquiries following the set customer communication protocol.
• Manage cancellation & obsolescence of elements requests from customer.
• Adhere to established customer communication SLA.
• Manage CQTs and logs for Quality Issues
• Ensure clients are invoiced correctly
• Client visits to understand practical application of product.
• Provide Backup to other team members
Job Requirements
• 4-5 years project management experience in a fast paced demanding environment, previous experience working at or with an agency to support promotional marketing campaigns preferred.
• Comfortable working a full-time position that is demanding and fast-paced as it is not a traditional 9-5 type of position
• Ability communicate to team and greater department to ensure seamless project deliverables
• Ability to main calm, focused and confident in a dynamic print production environment (focused on the solution and not the everyday stressors of the job)
• Previous experience managing printed products
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with demonstrated verbal and written communication
• Commitment to get the job including all project management and administration work
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to adapt to and address challenges
• Excellence time management skills
• Creative problem solving, especially as you will work with clients directly to provide solutions and exceptional customer service
• Strong PC skills including Excel, SAP, Pathfinder, e-procurement software, Lotus Notes and Google Mail.
• A self-starter who works well independently to manage priorities.
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Commitment to the Quality Process
