Our client, involved in the supply and installation of industrial safety products into government infrastructure, buildings and transportation buildings.  We're looking for a Project Coordinator with an engineering or technologist background  to support it's busy, growing operations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working on large municipal projects involving installation of product at Civil Infrastructure sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation crews, project activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate setbacks
  • Issue all appropriate reporting
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met
Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction field
  • Must be willing to travel extensive periods of time within Canada and to the USA
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management Strong client-facing and teamwork skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Education: College Diploma from Civil, architecture, mechanical,  architecture or construction technologies
  • Company vehicle provided
