Talentcor is seeking a highly qualified Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to work for one of Canada’s leading Fluid products (Milk and other flavored products) producer located in the Queen St. East and Airport Rd area in Brampton
This position will be responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of all plant equipment and facilities, processing equipment, high speed filling equipment as well as assisting in the installation of new equipment.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a wage rate of $37.18/hour 

Shift: Tuesday through Saturday nights, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.


Your future responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide support to production and filling operations. This includes, not limited to, performing preventative and corrective maintenance and servicing of automated and high-speed filling equipment.
In this role you will be in charge of equipment changeover, trouble shooting, you will work with hydraulics, and pneumatics, and will need to read and understand both electrical and mechanical blueprints.


Your Qualifications and Skills:
  • Ontario Millwright required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Millwright, preferably in high-speed packaging equipment in the dairy industry.
  • Able to work in a unionized environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Hands-on skills with welding, machining.
  • Thorough electrical and PLC knowledge. (would be an asset)
  • Proficient with standard office computer technology such as SAP
  • Welding/fabrication/machining
