Classification: Sales Assistant

Compensation: $22.00 to $27.50 hourly

Our client, an Electrical Wholesale Manufacturer & Distributor, in the local area is seeking the immediate services of an Inside Sales Coordinator to assist their team. As the Inside Sales Coordinator, your duties include but not limited to the following: Ensure accurate and timely entering and processing of purchase orders and customer inquiries; Process order confirmations and identify changes with customers to ensure accuracy of orders and resolve discrepancies; Quote and enter customer freight charges; Develop and implement efficient inventory management and forecasting procedures that can be used to maintain the dynamic flow of inbound orders from various suppliers; Track orders and confirm system lead times and delivery dates; Ensure that purchased materials are entered into inventory correctly; Update and maintain inventory item list; Handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and detail oriented manner; Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests including order entry & pricing; Light warehouse duties that include verifying stock levels and other adhoc duties as necessary. As the strong candidate for this opportunity you must possess two or more years of Electrical Industry Experience in the Sales or Customer Service department with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills are also required.
