POSITION: DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.


This is the Role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning and execution of strategies and programs required to execute commercial and community objectives. This role will be reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and support in the strategy and execution of digital marketing programs, overseeing growth of website traffic, lead acquisitions and brand loyalty.


The role will actively contribute to the development of key digital content for deployment through relevant digital channels to stakeholder groups in order to maximize, reach and deliver qualified leads to the business.  The Digital Marketing Specialist will closely interact with the wider marketing team, including customer service as well as other functions such as sales and technical support.


Duties include:

  • Oversee the planning, execution and reporting for always on marketing emails.
  • Establish an email marketing strategy that drives business and nurtures our existing community.
  • Manage the email deployment calendar.
  • Track health of email community database through subscribers, clicks, opens and inactivity.
  • Together with the CRM team, recommend and strategize segmentation of the email database and implementation of remarketing programs as required.
  • Work closely with partners to conduct comprehensive post campaign analysis of programs to get learnings and shift strategy and tactics as needed.
  • Nurture engagement, community building and compliance with internal Employee Social Media policy.
  • Create and execute social media content for ROCKWOOL; develop content calendars and collect all necessary approvals.
  • Monitor and engage with key customers through appropriate social media outlets; tracking and analyzing findings.
  • Work with other marketing team members to build and execute digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop creative and multimedia content for social media posts, videos, websites and presentations
  • Assist in coordinating digital advertising efforts with external agencies.
  • Assist in the development and execution of website tools and content while conducting regular quality assurance checks.
  • Promote and develop best practices for digital marketing, identifying new opportunities and trends for the business.
  • Develop regular analytics reports capturing SEO, Social Media Engagement and digital advertising results.


Job Requirements

This is what you offer:

  • A post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or diploma in related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Digital Marketing with a good understanding of the digital marketing channel landscape, including working knowledge of campaign activation and delivery across paid search, social, display, video, affiliates and others.
  • Strong knowledge of social media – monitoring, engagement, analysis and reporting
  • Management and development of CMS – Episerver an advantage but not essential.
  • Able to build a network and operate within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of lead generation tools and tactics. – Marketo is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
