Community Healthcare Program Relationship Manager – Job Description

  • Provide senior level advice and expertise in maintaining and executing the necessary processes, guidelines, methodologies, standards and best practices for operations
  • Review and analyze IAR operational tickets and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (e.g. Health Information Network Providers, vendors, HSPs) to resolve request in timely manner
  • Manage the implemented Health Service Providers in an operational environment and ensure the continued use of IAR through assessment standards, service level objectives, and industry best practices, and lead and review the development of documentation to ensure adequate support for implemented Health Service Providers in an operational environment
  • Work with project managers to support the use of industry best practices with regards to release management, change management, incident management, problem management, privacy and security breach management for the IAR operational environment
  • Provide project management expertise, strategic advice and support to the Community, Mental Health and Addictions & Long-Term Care I&IT Solutions Branch to ensure effective governance, risk management and mitigation strategies and recommended approaches and plans are in place to support operational success
  • Lead the stakeholder management activities in support of the Health Information Network Providers (HINPs), IAR Governance Committees, project partners (i.e. DATIS, CAMH) and foster collaborative working relationships and successful delivery of operational and project-based activities.
  • Work with the Health Information Network Providers (HINPs) and the IAR governance structure to review and discuss issues, seek approval on new requests and provide reports related to the operational activities, and other key deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with major technical and operational support groups in the Branch to deliver day to day support and agreed upon deliverables to Health Service Providers that have implemented and are now using the IAR
  • Provide strategic input and recommendations to current and future initiatives, support transitional and operational activities, and perform other project management duties as required
  • Support the development of business requirements and scope gathering to update new and existing assessments with in IAR and ensure they meet legislated privacy and security requirement
  • Work with technical teams to implement enhancements to IAR, new assessments and / or updates to existing assessments. Ensure changes to technical environments follow the software development life cycle and lead all project deliverables from a business perspective; and
  • IAR supporting documentations for interRAI HC, interRAI CA, RAI-MH and RAI-MDS specifications changes

Community Healthcare Program Relationship Manager – Mandatory Skills

  • Provide expertise and advice regarding operational, business and financial issues impacting the Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) operational plan, day to day operations and other strategic initiatives, and develop and implement recommendations to resolve issues in support of operational activities, timelines, scope and budget
  • Understanding of and/or experience in working with common assessments and their application in the community care sectors and the broader health system
  • Understanding of and or experience with the maintenance of information standards involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working with large-scale business solutions environment in all aspects of IT services, service management framework and service level agreements
  • Strong consultation, negotiation, and consensus building skills to work collaboratively and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders and business partners
