Job Description:

Our client in Borden, Ontario (Canada) has three (3) twelve (12) month contracts available for IT Support consultants. This work will require shifts which will include both days and overnight.   • Provide end user support for a multitude of systems and applications
  • Configure servers as well as setting up/mapping to networks
  • Perform server system monitoring using standard tools (IBM Patrol, BMC Patrol), including initial problem identification and analysis and worked with other appropriate staff as required in determining resolution
  • Escalate issues when required
  • Provide initiation, rebooting, troubleshooting and other support services and guidance to clients in the area of UNIX, Windows and Linux server and network environments
  • Input, update, review, approve and implemented problem/incident/change management records using INFOMAN, Marvel and other system management tools (IBM Director) and applications;
