Description


Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive and achieve sales and profit goals
  • Develop and plan targets in line with national and regional sales strategies
  • Call on assigned accounts in region to drive sales growth, Distribution, OEM and End User-Channel partners
  • Identify new opportunities within the region and create a strategy to close new business
  • Deploy solution selling techniques to identify customer issues and work with them to create partnerships
  • Be aware of significant developments within the territory
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory to develop and maintain a good rapport with customers
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with corporate guidelines, policies and standards of professionalism
  • Utilize sales tools to help keep track and plan territory sales, and manage time effectively
  • Respond to customer requests on a timely basis 
  • Work with the Sourcing team to help maintain inventory levels for your region
  • Work with Marketing to ensure all customers are aware of new products, changes in company policies, and pricing
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and training courses as required



Requirements

Our firm is a leader in high end complex mobile hydraulic products.
We require an above average knowledge of mobile hydraulics and the ability to design basic circuitry.
This position will be assigned senior accounts, there will be occasional travel to Northern Ontario.
We do need at least 5 years outside sales from within the fluid power industry.
preference given to those with a CFPS or equivalent work knowledge.
Territory will be Ontario,applicant can be based anywhere from Trenton to Guelph.
