Compensation: $40000.00 to $45000.00 yearly

If you're able to take responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), you could advance your career as an Accounting Clerk with a well-known, successful organization. Your responsibilities in this role

- Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports

- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

- Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes

- Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts

- Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

- Add financial information to journals and ledgers

- Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects

- Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Job Requirements
- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended

- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

- Strong familiarity with bank reconciliations

- Command of account reconciliation

- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Data entry experience

- General ledger experience preferred

- Degree or diploma
