Talentcor  is recruiting for a Print Production Operator in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  
Accountabilities:
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Determine output requirements
  • Complete client orders for shipping
  • Print and check proofs (may include scanning and minimal document manipulation)
  • Act as primary customer contact for equipment service and repair
  • Perform maintenance and repair of high-frequency service call areas on specified equipment to maximize customer uptime
  • Maintain effective inventory appropriate to client equipment population
  • Management of a significant volume of equipment
  • Clean reprographic equipment and change supplies
  • Monitor and manage supplies
  • Record meter reads
  • Process production forms and maintain records
  • Demonstrate knowledge of printing equipment
 


  • Ability to read, write and follow basic instructions
  • Comfortable working in hot/cold temperatures and in a dusty environment
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Able to operate large centralized reprographic equipment.
  • Able to detect production inconsistencies and quality issues
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Math skills (multiplication, division, percentages)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of printing equipment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work with others in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision
