Manpower has an exciting opportunity with a top employer in Milton! Our client is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join their growing team. The Shipping Coordinator would be responsible for the coordination of inbound/outbound carriers and the completion of SAP transactions. As well as reporting to the Distribution Manager. This position is a direct hire opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:
- Create shipping documents including Bill of Lading, labels and other essential documents
- Provides timely and effective communication to the business team and freight carriers regarding shipments
- Coordinating with other departments as needed to fulfill special requirements for customer orders
- Coordinating with freight couriers and carriers for movement of goods in most cost-effective manner
- Processes all required paperwork and adequate records for reporting and tracking
- Maintains and services all requests for top accounts
- Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Conducting quality audits of conditions of goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off
- Loads materials to prevent damage and maximize space
- Assists supervisor and team lead in day to day operations
- Post-Secondary degree in Supply Chain Management or related degree
- 2-3 years in a similar position
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional problem resolution skills and critical thinking
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing multiple projects while adhering to deadlines with a high sense of urgency
- Previous experience with SAP experience an asset
- Operating Material Handling Equipment if necessary
