Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following, (other duties may be assigned): 1.Oversee and manage distributor and customer relationships in assigned region. 2.Increase sales and profit margin in assigned region. 3.Oversee the sales activities of regional Salesmen in the Area. 4.Responsible to implement  Corporate Sales Strategy. 5.Effectively communicate market trends and product competitiveness to management. New business opportunities should also be communicated to Product Managers for review. 6.Regular review, distribution and follow-up of  sales leads to assigned distributors. 7.Submit a monthly report to consist of target account updates, quotation feedback, and distributor updates and training. 8.Provide Corporate with order status changes, as well as forecast feedback at major OEM accounts. 9. May include direct sales responsibility for Regional Sales or assigned accounts.

This position can be in either Winnipeg or Saskatoon.

Requirements

Qualifications

Post-secondary school diploma, prefer a CFPS or equivalent experience in fluid power. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Complete and thorough understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic applications. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Valid Driver’s License. IFPA/CFPA Specialists Certification.
Please note: This is a highly specialized product line and as such we need an above average understanding of hydraulics.
