Talentcor Winnipeg is currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager position. This permanent position is for a well-known, local Winnipeg restaurant, offering excellent compensation and the opportunity for career growth. Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager ensures that all base-line operations are maintained and exceeded to the exact Company standards.

Responsibilities

Maintain Manitoba Food Handlers certification and ensure all employees have certification where applicable Adhere to Manitoba Food Safety requirements Responsible for all Front of house daily operations Ensure guest satisfaction Ensure that production and beverage expediency (ticket times) is maintained under all situations Mentoring the team Ensure that all safety standards are maintained, and train where necessary Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order Develop and implement strategic planning for preventative maintenance on all restaurant equipment Responsible for hiring all Front of House employees, alongside the General Manager Responsible for training, coaching and developing employees Assisting General manager in performance reviews Ensure that labour sheets are totaled and calculated accurately every day of the week Creating schedules Responsible for handling, compiling, confidentiality and accuracy of payroll Responsible for daily cash reconciliation Ensure confidentiality and protection of all employee information at all times Run great shifts, regardless of any perceived limitations Ensure that all restaurant employees are provided with a work environment that is informative, fun, motivational, safe and free of harassment Qualifications

2 + years experience leading a team in the food service industry Must be flexible to work in morning and evening shifts, 7 days a week, for a total of 40 hrs. Experience in hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining staff Experience in budgeting and cash handling In-depth knowledge of safety and health regulations Ability to work well in fast-paced and stressful work environment
