Accountemps is hiring dedicated candidates for a Finance Coordinator position at a fast-growing company. Some of your responsibilities in this role include running financial modeling on a number of financial products and measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will be charged with advising management on the allocation of resources to accomplish objectives in a timely manner and preparing reports for management. You will be a part of a dynamic team being a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Finance Coordinator role is based in the Winnipeg, Manitoba, area and is a short-term temporary employment opportunity. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated competency in financial Coordination.


- Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

- Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting

- Produce and manage forecasting reports

- Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans

- Operate with key senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Flexible individual capable of handling large amounts of information and managing expectations

- Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance

- Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

- Work with the Accounting group to lead the monthly and quarterly close process

- Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

- Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Job Requirements
Requirement include:

- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)

- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

- Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Bank reconciliations experience

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- Experience with payroll

- General familiarity with data entry

- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

- QuickBooks experience

- Background working with Batch Processing

- Earlier work involving check processing

- Petty cash experience highly preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of ROA - ROE - ROI

- Practical knowledge of Employee Assistance

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Candidates with Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized
