Classification: Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Compensation: $50000.00 to $60000.00 yearly

Our client, an international leader in their industry, is looking to hire a Benefits Specialist. The responsibilities of the Benefits Specialist may include:

- Researching compensation and benefits policies and plans

- Ensuring compensation and benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive

- Monitoring and researching compensation and benefits trends

- Comparing benefits and compensation plans, job classifications, and salaries through data and cost analyses

- Preparing and updating job descriptions and occupational classifications

- Ensuring company is compliant with provincial and federal laws.

Job Requirements
As the ideal candidate for the role of Benefits Specialist, you will be analytically inclined, detail oriented, and excellent with numbers. Great communication skills are essential to this role, as well as having a strong sense of ethics and discretion. You have a post-secondary education in finance or business, an understanding of US benefits legislation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. A minimum of 3 years experience is required to be successful in this role, preferably in a group benefits environment.
