On behalf of our client in the Professional Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Web Product Manager.

Web Product Manager – Job Description

  • Web Product Manager to drive the evolution of the website to deliver the best experience for our customers, support our business goals, and ensure our teams can efficiently manage our web properties.
  • In this role, you'll partner closely with Marketing, Design, and Development functions to prioritize new features and enhancements, build web representation for campaigns, programs, offerings, and launches, and continually improve the performance of the website. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for a product manager with deep knowledge of web design and development who can leverage those skills to collaborate closely with our design and development teams in driving overall process and execution of roadmap priorities.
  • Lead and influence teams towards a measured outcome you clearly describe
  • Partner with marketing, design and development leadership to develop and manage the website roadmap in line with business objectives (including new functions, bugs, systems or tools).
  • Translate business requirements into website requirements. Clearly define user stories, acceptance criteria, and critical test cases to drive QA and regression testing.
  • Work with segment marketing, web testing, SEO, design, and development leads to drive conversion improvement on the website through rigorous testing and planning.
  • Triage and prioritize business requests and requirements; work with design and development leads to prioritize based on site objectives, business impact, customer benefit, and effort level.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources (site analytics, customers, other internal teams, competitors), share key insights to inform decisions / roadmap enhancements.
  • Ensure seamless project execution- define scope, timelines, quality metrics and accountability, negotiate resourcing, actively identify project risks and dependencies, track quality and timelines (estimated and actual effort).
  • Set expectations and provide status updates for stakeholders. Report on impact to site KPIs post-project/release.
  • Monitor advancements in ecommerce, digital and SaaS space, as well as competitive landscape for opportunities/ideas to improve our sites and customer experience.
  • Motivate team members to achieve project goals by bringing an unrivalled passion for delivery, a positive attitude, and strive to exceed expectations in every interaction.

Web Product Manager – Mandatory Skills

  • 5+ years of product or project management experience in web/application development with proven track record of delivering business results.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Deep analytical mindset that is obsessed with tracking and improving KPIs
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management across several knowledge areas: Scope, Risk, Quality, Communication and Stakeholder Management.
  • Knowledge of project management life cycle, and experience with using productivity and project management tools. (e.g. Jira, AirTable, Wrike, etc.)
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail; can confidently project manage a complex effort with many moving pieces
  • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to execute well under pressure, adapt to a constantly changing environment and be available for project support outside of regular hours.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills - able to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator

Web Product Manager – Nice to Have Skills

  • PMP, CAPM and/or Scrum Master certificate.
  • Experience working on large-scale, global website/application.
  • Experience with external client management.
  • Previous experience as a web/software developer, systems analyst and/or business analyst.
