Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring daily activities of warehouse operations are maintained. The Warehouse Associate will also maintain effective communications with the Warehouse Manager and all coworkers.





PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring the daily receiving, shipping and inventory control aspects of the warehouse are maintained including:

The Warehouse Associate is also expected to participate in other related projects and perform other functions as required from time to time. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all responsibilities outlined in SOP DG0201 revision V1.4 for the “Warehouse Associate”


• High school diploma or equivalency;


• Must be proficient in English language (reading, written, oral and mathematics);
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily;
• Ability to perform repeated reaching, bending and lifting daily;
• Able to work in a cold environment daily;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate judgment;
• Ability to work accurately with a strong attention to detail;
• Works well under pressure in time sensitive situations;
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities;
• Independent worker, requiring minimal supervision; and
• Bilingualism (French-English) is also an asset.


MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry


2. Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system
3. Strong business and financial acumen
4. Strong analytical and mathematical skills
5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
6. Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
7. Effective organizational skills; attention to detail
8. Ability to consistently meet deadlines
9. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
10.Excellent presentation skills
11.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs
