Inteqna is working with a client who has a 6-month contract for a UX Designer to support both mobile and desktop web-based application development teams. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into intuitive and functional user interfaces.



  • Coach staff that are new to the Lean User Experience Methodology covering Requirements to Prototype being incorporated into IT's Software Solutions Methodology (SSM).
  • Contribute artifacts to SSM while supporting multiple projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the field of multi-screen size responsive application UX design
  • Support multiple, concurrent projects and will not be dedicated to one initiative.
  • Perform updates to SSM to refine Lean UX requirements gathering.
  • Coach teams applying principles in applying Lean UX requirements gathering.
  • Support development teams with UX design and implementation:
  • Coach / mentor teams to deliver wireframes and personas that meet the defined project requirements.
  • Develop project reference library for Lean UX artifacts






  • Proven User Experience (UX) for software and mobile applications (3 years)
  • Demonstrable UX design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating personas and wireframes, user flows and site maps
  • Ability to create personas, user flows, site maps and wireframes, to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas for both a desktop and mobile device
  • Proficiency in Balsamiq, PhotoShop or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Broad knowledge of emerging UX trends and practices in mobile application development.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complete the user requirements
  • Support staff in updating Software Solutions Methodology (SSM) to incorporate Lean UX requirements gathering.
  • Ensure alignment on IT UX practice with Corporate Pattern Library.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach newer UX developers with of the goal of standardizing the UX practice within IT.:
  • Previous work experience with Municipal, other Government Organizations or Equivalent endeavors
  • Knowledge of Web-based technologies such as HTML/XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and other web protocols (e.g. HTTP, REST, JSON) (minimum of 3 years).
