Compensation: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year

Our client, an agency that specialize for clients within the real estate space are looking for a entry level UI designer to help assist with current and new projects. THis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career under strong mentorship while being exposed to a wide variety of projects. To be successful in this role you need to be highly success driven, motivated and passionate about what you do. Based near Olympic Village, Cambie Broadway station, they have a strong focus on work life balance with a "work-hard play-hard" mentality.
Job Requirements
What You'll Be Doing As a Visual Designer - Applying user-centred design for solving problems justify design decisions with peers stakeholders - Support Senior Creatives with ad hoc task on projects, as required - Assist in basic mockups in Sketch, or relevant software application - Assist with or create basic graphics / iconography - Designing for mobile and web apps - Producing digital ads across various channels - Working with presenting your design work to the digital team including content strategists, UI, UX, and Developers Qualifications Requirements - Degree or comparable training in UI/Design field - Training in Sketch, Adobe Suite, InVision - Background in graphic design is preferred Use best industry practice standards to create assets using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) or other relevant software application (pngs, jpgs, etc) ? Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced organization, flexibility to do what is required for the best outcome Skills And Experience As a Designer - 1 + years of experience in UX Interaction design - Experience working on telecom or financial clients a bonus - Highly proficient with Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision - Focused on delivering great customer experiences aligned to business outcomes - Must be passionate about modern design practices methodologies but flexible to think outside the box Bonus Points - Familiarity in motion graphics - Digital marketing best practices (i.e. social ads) - user experience methods and design principles - Some experience in software development, web technologies Due to the overwhelming amount of applications only successful candidates will be contacted.
