What are some of the details for the Toolmaker Journeyman Tool & Die / Mould Maker?

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in maintaining cast and trim tools
  • Installation and repair of hydraulic cylinders
  • Tool & Die Maker or Mould Maker License
  • Ability to use shop equipment, lathe, mill, grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Use precision measuring instruments
  • Experienced using continuous improvement tools and principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project Management, etc.
  • Able to travel outside Canada for training, etc.
  • What are some more of the Skills & Abilities to perform well in this Toolmaker role?

  • 5 years of experience in die casting or similar manufacturing environment
  • Experience Welding, MIG / TIG and / or Arc welding and use of cutting torches
  • Knowledge or experience using AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of applicable government codes, rules and regulations and be able to keep up to date of changes of these codes
  • Trained in TS16949

  • $65,000 – 67,000K per year
