Altus Assessments is a Canadian company that creates and administers the CASPer test- an online screening tool designed to evaluate key personal and professional characteristics that make for successful students and graduates. The CASPer test is used in academic admissions processes- predominantly in health-related programs (Medical School admissions, Nursing admissions, Physician Assistant admissions etc.)

Job Overview:

A rater is an independent contractor tasked with the responsibility of grading CASPer test results. All work is completed online and at your own pace. As a rater, you must uphold the values of Altus Assessments and rate applicant responses in a fair, unbiased manner. You will be properly trained to be a rater and equipped prior to rating results.

What we are looking for:

We aim for our CASPer raters to be recruited from various backgrounds and professions but share the intrinsic interest of helping to identify well-rounded students that would make great professionals. An ideal rater is a diligent individual who is detail-oriented, a fast learner and is technologically inclined. A rater should also be receptive and open to feedback and takes pride in their work.

  • Although not exclusively, we are interested in recruiting academic faculty members and those with experience in the medical field
  • This is a casual position. Your position as a rater is an independent contractor of Altus Assessments. No minimum amount of work can be guaranteed

Job Type: Temporary, Contract

Salary: $20.00 to $35.00 /hour
