Technical Writer, Organizational Change Management

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Technical Writer, Organizational Change Management.

Technical Writer, Organizational Change Management Job Details:

• Working a total of 35 to 40 hours per week, the successful candidate will perform Organizational Change Management activities including (but not limited to):

o Researching, outlining, writing, and editing new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements

o Independently gathering information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process


  1. o Working with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and recommend solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
  2. o Developing content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
  3. o Creating, maintaining, and updating online help documentation systems as needed o Examining mockups, drawings, specifications, or product samples to integrate production sequences and operating procedures

o Performing copy/edit and providing suggestions for improving structure, presentation, and delivery of content to end-users to resolve information gaps and inconsistencies

o  Creating and updating technical illustrations, graphics, and job aids as required

Technical Writer, Organizational Change Management Mandatory Skills:

o At least five years’ experience acting as a Technical Writer for information technology projects

o Experience in supporting multi-discipline teams performing organizational change management activities that support the business objectives

o Experience interacting with a wide variety of people in diverse roles including management, architects, technical experts, operational staff, and end users

o Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

o Knowledge of change management processes and organizational change management methodologies

o Knowledge of the installation, configuration, maintenance, and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems, and network components

o Knowledge of IT Service Management
