Technical Support Technician - Montreal

On behalf of our client in Montreal Quebec, Procom are looking for a Bilingual DFS Technical Support Technician to work on a 5 month contract.

Technical Support Technician Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s).
  • Technician maybe site based or may require travel to different client’s locations.
  • Will perform troubleshooting of Routers, Switches and connectivity in the client’s local environment. Resolve issues with network infrastructure and/or components.
  • Equipment covered includes server support, and network smart hands
  • Installation and configuration of computer and software equipment, including connection to customer networks, data backup etc.
  • The candidate must be comfortable evolving in the field of customer service

Technical Support Technician Required Qualifications:

  • Windows 10 and Windows 7 experience.
  •  DEP or Equivalent
  • Work schedule: M-F, 08:30 to 17:00 (Overtime could happen)
  • Years of experience: ideally 1 but none could be acceptable.
  • Driving requirements: 30%, roughly 100 km. Candidate needs a car.
  • Candidate needs to be fluent in English and French and this must be clearly stated on the resume.
