Immediate opening available for a Supply and Demand Planning Analyst Working with our client in Mississauga, we are actively recruiting for a Supply and Demand Planning Analyst for a full-time position. Reporting directly to the Director of Supply and Demand Planning, the Supply and Demand Planning Analyst will be involved with: * Work collaboratively with Sales in reviews of sales forecasts to determine appropriate inventory levels and future customer needs * Place necessary purchase orders with vendors as required * Develop and recommend inventory targets to meet desired service levels while minimizing working capital requirements * Monitor customer orders and respond to order process requirements * Implement corrective actions to minimize obsolete, surplus, and aged inventories * Coordinate physical inventory counts and audits to comply with financial reporting requirements * Respond and approve inquiries regarding inventory supply, abnormal movements, and customer inventory returns * Investigate and help explore resolution for Supply Chain service level customer complaints * Interact with other areas of the business including Customer Service, Operations, manufacturing, Logistics, and others. * Maintain data, conduct analysis, and report to key stakeholders regarding key performance indicators * Work with vendors to ensure dual source supply where possible; negotiate favourable supply terms with vendors
Job Requirements
