      As the Outside Sales Representative for our Storage Solutions Group (SSG), you are a professional sales person who is confident to consult with customers on their pallet racking, shelving, storage and material handling systems solutions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and helping customers with their challenging business needs in how they store and automate their environments.       The Storage Solutions Representative (SSG) is patient to persevere through lengthy sales processes, and have a keen awareness of the importance of after-sales services to fully understand customer expectations and respond appropriately. Throughout this process, they will coordinate their interventions with their internal and external partners to respect the budget and manage the project with regard to the products and services. As such, their sense of organization and communications will become imperative to successfully close contracts. The Storage Solutions Representative (SSG) also has experience in prospecting for new clientele and the development and support of current customers. Their ability to build long-term relationships is critical to their success. The ideal candidate has a dynamic and analytical personality, patience and is able to remain calm when under stress to meet project deliverables. They will focus primarily on customer service, listening to the needs of others, inventing multi-faceted solutions and establishing action plans with their partners.


        • Generate revenue through sales activities working towards targets and department objectives
        • Educate client’s on Johnston Equipment’s line of products


        • Execute creative prospecting strategies to secure new customers - a key focus of this role is securing new business and revenue opportunities
        • Persevere throughout an often lengthy sales process, and also with a keen awareness of the importance of after-sales service
        • Fully understand customer expectations and respond appropriately
        • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business while maintaining high customer satisfaction
        • Coordinate with manufacturers, engineers, designers, installers and customers to ensure project timelines and expectations are successfully met
